all up and running

finally i got my mixer back -it took ages to get repaired, so think twice before you buy a korg mixer! but now it's all here and i'm happy as a kid can be with that wonderful toy!

and here is a little mix i did with it. -i'm a bit out of shape but hey, couldn't practice for long. and still better than some other residents in a little red club (i still can't believe that such bad mixing is tolerated there.

ich bin mal so frei und rehoste dass mixtape, da es sonst nur bei zshare zum download gab.
und zshare mag ich schon lange nicht mehr.

weiter gehts

manchmal ist das gar nicht so leicht.
heute zum beispiel, habe ich viele dinge angefangen und keines durchgezogen.
selbst beim basketball training, habe ich nicht voll mitgemacht, da mein körper schlapp gemacht.
aber egal.
wer mir bei twitter followt, wird es mitbekommen haben:
ich war beim melt! festival.
ist ja nichts besonders, da waren ja viele.
für mich aber schon:
denn zum einen bin ich keine festivalgänger (ausser man kann zuhause übernachten)
und zum anderen drehen wir gerade an einer dokumentation über und mit digitalism.
zwar hat man nicht viele andere acts live gesehen, ausser backstage natürlich.
und man muss schon sagen was die jungs, da auf die bühne stellen ist schon gigantisch.
und das meine ich so wie ich es sage, denn die ganze crew ist super hilfreich und kompetent.

und vor so vielen leuten habe ich noch nie gefilmt. das soll auch was heißen ;)
den ersten film wird es hofftl. diese woche geben.

lange zeit wars still.
gestern abend lief es dann so einigermaßen rund.
oval trifft es wohl besser.
aber besser als nichts und um den druck auf mich mal zu erhöhen gibts was neues auf die ohren.

ein kleines berliner label, das mir neulich von einem der macher empfohlen wurde.
habs heute erts geschafft mla draufzusehen.
klingt gut. sieht gut aus und riecht auch gut.

so ein richtiger ebay fan bin ich eigentlich nicht.
aber manchmal, da mach ich mit und biete bis zum geht nicht mehr, oder bis zum selbstgesetzten limit.
obwohl, dass muss ich zugeben, dann manchmal richtig schwer fällt.
heute war es auch wieder soweit, die zeit lief runter und auf einmal schossen die anderen gebote in die höhe.
das schlimme daran: in meine höhe.
was mache ich also kurz vor ende: ich steigere mein max gebot nochmal um 20€.
wenn schon dann richtig und nicht auf den letzten meter sekunden noch verlieren.
war aber gar nicht nötig, das teil war schon meins.
und die ganze aufregung umsonst.
bisher habe ich bei ebay nur gekauft, so ca. 20 sachen in den letzten 4 jahren.
verkauft bisher nichts, das wird auch noch so bleiben, ist einfach zuviel aufwand.

hab schon viel schrott ersteigert, aber hier meine tophits:

• stylophone 305s (ca. 120€, neupreis 300€)
• original carrera sonnenbrillen (ca 20€)
• ray ban wayfarer (30€, neupreis ca 140€)

feature two: sedat altinok

dieser dj begleitet mich schon sehr lange auf meinen zügen durchs hamburger nachtleben.
früher traf ich ihn regelmäßig im 13. stock an, wo er mit ein paar kollegen zur destination disco läd. 
an den plattentellern pilotiert sedat die tanzwütigen in das disco-soul-funk paradies.
diese party reihe geht jetzt schon ins 5 jahr. ich bin da nur noch selten, er ist da nach wie vor einmal im monat am start.

im hamburger neidklub ist er als support nicht mehr wegzudenken, im berliner postbahnhof, geht dank ihm regelmäßig die post ab. 

(sorry, diesen doofen witz konnte ich mir nicht verkneifen)

und da in ihm mehr als eine guter dj steckt, gibts bald seine erste single auf dem label mode-2 records. sie heißt "sad nights" und auf seiner myspace seite könnt ihr schonmal reinhören. dort findet ihr auch alle weiteren infos, sowie seine nächsten dates.
